More times than not, we tend to forget to take the time to be thankful and grateful for what we are blessed with every day. We get caught up in the craziness of life and never find the time to stop and just say thank you. Fortunately, we have this amazing holiday of Thanksgiving to help remind us that we need to be thankful for everything we have in our lives! Because of that, I want to tell you what I'm thankful for, and hopefully it will inspire you to do the same! :)
I am thankful for...
I can honestly say that I wouldn't be anywhere without my parents! The love and support they give me every day is something I could never repay them for. No matter where we are or what situation we're in, they make sure to always put me and my siblings first. They most certainly do everything they can to give us the best life possible. My siblings are also three people I'm blessed to have in my life. My two older siblings are two people that have definitely proven where hard work can get you. I don't think I could ask for better role models if I tried. As for my little brother, well, he's pretty much just taught me how to have an immense amount of patience. ;)
No matter how many times I complain or just want to quit, I am definitely grateful that I even have a job. There are many people who don't have any sort of job, and I'm lucky enough to have one where I can lay in bed and do it while in pajamas. It allows me to go to school as well as spend time with my loved ones, and make enough money to pay for necessities.
I have to give a whole separate thank you to my boyfriend because he is definitely a special person in my life. He's constantly there for me, supporting me and cheering me on no matter the circumstance. Without him, I wouldn't have had the courage to follow my dreams and reach for goals I never thought were possible. When I met him at only thirteen, I never expected him to become someone so important in my life, and I couldn't be more thankful for him!
Without my blog, I would never have the platform to write and share something that I love so much with y'all. I have met so many amazing people and learned things I would have never been able to without my blog. It is most certainly something I'm grateful for and glad I started over two years ago.
The chance to get an education.
There are so many places that don't give people the opportunity to have an education, and regardless of the amount of times I complain about it, I'm thankful to be able to have one. It helps me grow, learn, and prepare for the career I'm hoping to have one day. That being said, I am also thankful to be almost done! :)
Having so many influential people in my life.
There are so many family members, mentors, friends, etc that I'm so thankful for I could make a list days long. They play such a big part in shaping me into the person I am today. They help me through my mistakes and celebrate when I do something right. I am certainly lucky just to know most of these people! Y'all know who you are!
This list could honestly go on and on, but I might save that for another post! Just make sure that today you stop and say thank you for all that you're blessed with because there are some people out there who don't have what you do. That being said, I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and if you don't celebrate this holiday, then I hope you have a fabulous day!
