If you're anything like me, then you can pretty much eat Nutella with anything and everything! I've had it with pretzels, graham crackers, s'mores - heck, I have been known to eat just a spoonful. It's a challenge in itself just to find things Nutella can go with. But wait - have you ever thought about drinking Nutella? Whattt?! You read that right. Now, I don't mean melting it down and chugging the whole bottle. I mean, making hot chocolate with it! I think that gets another - whattt?! :) Yup, I am going to show y'all how to make Nutella Hot Chocolate!
What You Need:
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup Nutella
a dash of cinnamon
whipped cream (optional but definitely recommended)
[just fyi: When it gets closer to Christmas time, I like to switch out the cinnamon for a nice peppermint stick/candy cane!]
What You Do:
1. Pour your milk into a small saucepan over low-medium heat. You do not want your milk to boil, just heat up.
2. Once your milk is warmed, go ahead and add your Nutella, whisking it until completely dissolved.
3. You can then add in your cinnamon and stir it in until everything is fully combined.
4. Now, just pour all that deliciousness into a a cute little mug, add some whipped cream on top, and you're good to go! If I had chosen to do a candy cane instead of cinnamon, this is when I would add the candy, hanging it right on the side of the mug!
I hope you enjoy, and be sure to let me know what else you have with Nutella (like I need anymore excuses to eat it! ha).
