So in case you couldn't tell by the title - my little blog turned 2 a few days ago! I was away with bad service, which meant I couldn't post anything. But I'm back and super excited to be able to post this!
Way back in 2013, I started watching YouTube and really becoming invested by continuing to watch the people I subscribed to. One of the first female YouTubers I started watching was actually Zoella (and I'm sure many of you can say the same) as well as Sprinkle of Glitter. Both were and still are amazing, but what really stood out to me about them wasn't their success with videos but with their blogs.
I began reading their blogs just as much as I watched their videos, and I really enjoyed the idea of a blog. Now, I will have to say that in the beginning, I used to think blogging was something moms did, and all they talked about was baking and cleaning. But after looking at Zoe's and Louise's blogs, my mind was changed. From there, I researched various blogs, how to start one, and all the other necessities you need when starting out. Then on January 28th, 2014, I published my first post about Lush bath bombs on what used to be Sparkle and Shine!
To say I was nervous was a very big understatement. I felt like I was the tiniest fish entering a huge pond, and I had no idea what to do. That didn't stop me though! I've continued to keep going and evolve this blog into something I'm super proud of! I mean, it's gone through multiple makeovers, content change, and the most recent - name change! But none the less, I've had so much fun so far building this blog up, sharing memories, and making so many internet friends.
The main thing I want to say with this post though is thank you! Thank you all so so sooo much for taking the time out of your day and reading the crazy things that come out of my mind! It means a lot to me to have this little space of my own and share it with all of you. The support I get from so many of you is part of what makes me love coming back here. Honestly, I can't wait to share it with even more of y'all and see where my blog ends up in another two years!
Until then, I'm just going to say thank you so much again because without y'all, I probably would have given up on this blog a long time ago. I'm glad I didn't though! :)
