Yesterday was a pretty exciting since it was my big twentieth birthday! Whoop whoop! I can't believe I have finally hit this age. When I was younger I always felt as though turning twenty was so far away, and I couldn't wait for it. Now that it's here, it's almost bitter-sweet because I know I will soon enough gain much more responsibilities and I will never be able to have that carefree attitude anymore, but at the same time I know that as I get older it will just mean I have all kinds of adventure under my belt! :)
As for the celebration my family decided to throw together for me, they all agreed on a fiesta with all the usuals included! I didn't get quite as many pictures as I wanted to, but I did get some! :)
Now, my amazing sister took it upon herself to cook an awesome Mexican feast for me and everyone! I can't tell you how much I appreciated it! I mean look how much food she made!
This isn't quite a fiesta theme cake, but I loved it! One of my mom's friends made it for me, and on top of it, she made an earring box out of fondant, which allowed for my mom to put a beautiful pair of earrings it in as part of my present! :)
What's a fiesta without a sombrero? :) Thankfully my boyfriend was nice enough to take a quick little selfie with me! He's just the cutest!
This is probably one of my favorite pictures of the night! My niece and I both had our sombreros on, so we just HAD to get a picture together! Aren't we adorable?;)
For what I wore, I decided to go really simple! I pretty bought a whole new outfit about a couple days ago, so I was excited to wear it! :) Also, for the shorts, you can't really see the pattern that's on them, so I took a close up picture! It's this really cool Aztec pattern that I am really loving!
What I wore:
Earrings: Charming Charlie
I had such an amazing birthday, and I am so thankful for my friends and family who made it so special! I can't wait to see what being 20 has in store! :)
